Dutch performance artist Nick Steur is one of those artists who seem to make the impossible possible. With his bare hands and without mechanical assistance, over a five day performance he creates fragile sculptures out of rocks weighing up to 1.5 tonnes. Working in deep concentration, he begins each day where he left off the previous day. Forever seeking that moment when the whole becomes what is truly a balancing act.
Realised in cooperation with Steiner Bau and Natursteine Rath.
