All cultures around the world celebrate connections between people who strive to create something new and mould the future. La Strada has always sought special connections between citizens and their city, artists and public, fundamental themes of our time and joy of life. And this is what we want to celebrate at the kick-off of this year's festival, a very special heyday of art. The acrobats of Gravity & Other Myths will transform Graz main square (Hauptplatz) into the "Entrada al Paradís" together with singers of Cor de Noies de l'Orfeó Català and the artists' collective, Zwermers. The rhythm of this festival is provided by Styrian musicians of the Bernhard Brassmann Band and Robert Hafner invites all guests to a traditional Kranzeltanz dance.
