Any serious exploration of paradise is quite impossible without a glimpse into the abyss of the "kingdom of shadows". Media artist Henry Jesionka has long been interested in the effects of scientific research on our society. In his exhibition "Fleeing Shadows", which La Strada shows in cooperation Kulturzentrum bei den Minoriten, the focus is on multi-media sculptures around Robert Oppenheimer and Stephen Hawking. They pay tribute to scientific achievement, but also refer to the tragedies associated with it.
