"In-Paradise" is a poetic appropriation of urban space. Amidst old car tyres and ropes, trashy plastic chairs and other everyday objects, this dance company from Southern France creates a truly unique world in the open air and in all weathers. Here, city and body merge into a fragile unity, creating both intimate and monumental constructions for ephemeral moments. A "paradise" emerging from the search for balance and an escape from the mundane, in which objects of scarcity and nothingness, are transformed and newly encoded.
