"In-Paradise" is a poetic appropriation of urban space: amidst old car tyres and ropes, cheap plastic chairs and other everyday objects, the southern French dance company creates a world of its own - in the open air and in all weathers. Here, architecture and body merge into a fragile unity, creating both intimate and monumental constructions for brief moments. A "paradise" that emerges through the search for balance and the breaking out of ordinariness - in which objects of little, of nothing experience a transformation and are re-coded.
"In-Paradise" forms an urban reference point to the forest project "Im Paradies" in Kalkleiten / Stattegg.
