Pirlin lived in Cremona, Italy in the 1950s and still possessed that wonderful mix of childlike joy, naiveté and willingness to marvel that so many of us have lost on our way to growing up. He brings these qualities to the streets of the city this summer, embodied by great street artist Adrian Schvarzstein. Like his alter ego of yesteryear, today's Pirlin overcomes challenges with great humanity, a dash of craziness and amusing obsessions. He brings colour to life - both his own and that of the people lucky enough to come across him.
"Pirlin" was developed during an IN SITU residency in Sri Lanka.
