Club La Strada 2026

For almost three decades, the La Strada festival has been bringing art directly to the people, broadening perspectives and opening up new views of the city. The freely accessible performances in the streets, squares and parks are essential to the festival's programme concept and shape the cityscape for nine days in the middle of summer. Numerous partners make it possible to bring high-quality performances into public space free of charge. The budgetary restrictions in the area of cultural funding are particularly hard on the independent scene and therefore also on La Strada. If you would like to make a direct contribution to ensuring that the festival can continue to offer a diverse and freely accessible programme for everyone in the future, become part of Club La Strada and support the festival in an active partnership.

You are very welcome to join Club La Strada, whether as a ‘Spezi’, ‘Gspusi’ or ‘Fix Zam’!

In addition to supporting La Strada Graz, you’re also in for a little Austrian dialect treat below.

‘Spezi’ is an Austrian dialectal word for pal. So, if you and La Strada go together like Thelma and Louise or you and your best friend - the La Strada ‘Spezi’ category is the right one for you. As a La Strada ‘Spezi’, you will support the artistic programme and development in the public space. You will also receive refreshing background information about the festival, the artists and the projects on our exclusive club website and some goodies to take home. Selected Club Specials will give you insider information about what’s happening at the festival.

‘Gspusi’ is used in Austria to label relationships that are not quite serious, but also already more than a casual fling. You and La Strada might already be more than just friends? We have to admit: we’re already falling a little for our La Strada ‘Gspusis’. ‘Gspusis’ support La Strada in the further development of particularly innovative projects and, in addition to background information in the club news section, also have the opportunity to meet La Strada artists in Meet&Greets. In addition, we warmly invite you to join us for the new La Strada format at the Minoritenhof, featuring special evening concerts.

There’s this popular saying in Austria: „Wer schmust is fix zam“, meaning anyone who is kissing is definitely in for something more serious. However, there’s no need to write your vows yet, but as a ‘Fix Zam’ member, you and La Strada are definitely an item! For all those for whom ‘Gspusis’ are too casual and ‘Spezis’ too platonic. And those who are ‘Fix Zam’ will also be taken along to the official dates: in addition to the club news section and the Meet&Greet, we invite all Lovers to the new music programme in the Minoritenhof.
