Le G. Bistaki is a collective of jugglers and dancers from Toulouse whose work is always in dialogue with the surrounding space. Their pieces captivate through the art of creating fantastical worlds that exist beyond our usual sense of time and space.
With Tancarville – a colloquial French word for a drying rack – the group continues its exploration of bodies, objects, and possibilities. The starting point is a simple everyday item: the white sheet. Full of symbolic meaning, it offers multiple uses, textures, and associations. In a dreamlike journey through civilizations and time, it evokes our collective memory and intimate rituals. In a tapestry of poetic and everyday scenes, Tancarville becomes a timeless fresco woven with absurdity and humor.
