In unreal state, Marcos Krivocapich transforms the real urban space into an interactive, virtual playing field. In his IRL RPG (In-Real-Life Role-Playing Game), the Argentinian theatre-maker explores how algorithms, digital systems and invisible structures influence our decisions, our behaviour and the ways we interact in modern cities. Together with co-creator León Siewert-Langhoff, he invites interested participants to take an active role in the project’s further development through workshops and a tryout, testing its first prototypes. The completed project may find its way back to La Strada 2028.

A production within the framework of IN SITU Platform 2025-28 with the support of the Creative Europe Programme of the European Commission. The project will be further developed at our IN SITU partner festivals and will premiere in September 2026 at the IN SITU FOCUS / Festival FiraTàrrega.
