Austro-Brazilian or Brazilo-Austrian? He practices yodelling, she practices the intricacies of Brazilian rhythms. She comes from the Styrian countryside, he from the metropolis of São Paulo. She plays classical and folk music, he plays jazz and occasionally choro. Cellist and singer deeLinde and guitarist and trombonist Emiliano Sampaio have climbed mountains together and wandered through the Brazilian rainforest, taught each other how to cook – and learned each other’s language.
As deeLinde & Emiliano Sampaio, they explore new paths – musically and personally – and present their debut album at Club La Strada in the Minoritenhof.
