Pardi! is more than just a name - Pardi! is an aesthetic, an experimental artistic vision: it is based on intensive research that pushes the boundaries of what is possible. The result: a highly individualised and unmistakable universe of contemporary circus. With classic codes such as the circus ring, live music, and clowning, Cirque Pardi! references circus tradition and at the same time breaks with it.
An eccentric group of outsiders slowly fills the stage, as if they’ve emerged from a film set. One thing is clear: there’s no place for them in real paradise, so they build their own paradise in their own reality. Dressed in glitter, football shirts, flared pants, and knee socks, the artists create lively scenes peppered with captivating acrobatics. Low Cost Paradise is a balancing act between fragility, unpolished poetry, raw madness, and pure joy.
